An insurance agency handling multiple policy types for individual clients and their families needed a way to manage customer relationships, policies, and renewal timing in one place, instead of relying on separate notes and reminders that were easy to lose track of.

We built an MS Access system that stores full customer and prospect details alongside a dedicated family-member profile section, so an agent can see a household's entire coverage picture — health, life, property, casualty, and business policies — from a single record. A follow-up module schedules and tracks tasks tied to customer interactions and policy updates, with reminders so nothing slips through the cracks during a busy renewal season.

The system also tracks payment history per customer and, most importantly, automatically generates alerts for upcoming premium payments and policy renewals — the single biggest source of missed revenue and lapsed coverage in an agency this size. Centralizing customers, policies, payments, and renewal timing in one searchable system turned a scattered, reminder-based process into something proactive and reliable.
