An MS Access donation tracker built for student-led fundraising — real-time dashboards and classwise statistics.
A school running a student-led fundraising drive needed an easy way for students themselves to record donations and pledges, along with a way to see progress in real time — both to keep momentum up and to give the effort some friendly, motivating competition between classes.
We built a lightweight MS Access application students could use directly: a simple interface to record donor name, donation amount, and pledged amount, dynamic dropdowns to keep data entry quick and consistent, and a basic user system so both students and administrators could navigate it without training. A live dashboard shows the total collected and pledged at any moment, and a classwise statistics view breaks down totals by class — turning fundraising into a visible, friendly competition rather than an opaque running tally only the organizers could see.
The system also prints donation receipts on demand, giving donors a professional touch, and a report generator breaks down collections by class for the school's own records. A small, purpose-built database gave the fundraiser exactly what a spreadsheet couldn't: a live, shared view that made the whole school's effort visible as it happened.
