Customer Order & Invoicing System
An MS Access system managing customer records, order entry, and one-click PDF invoice generation with organized file storage.
A small business managing customer orders and invoicing needed to move off a manual, ad-hoc process for tracking who ordered what, and for producing invoices that looked professional without a lot of extra formatting work every time.
We built an MS Access system covering the full order-to-invoice flow: customer records with contact details and quick search, an order screen backed by an admin-maintained list of services and products with pricing, and a one-click PDF invoice generator that pulls order details automatically into a consistent, professional layout. The system also manages file attachments — supporting documents get filed automatically into an admin-defined folder structure, organized per customer and order, so nothing ends up loose in a downloads folder.
Admin controls keep pricing and service definitions centralized, so the people entering orders always work from current, correct numbers. Turning a manual order-and-invoice process into a structured system with automatic PDF generation and organized file storage cut down on both formatting time and the small errors that come with copying numbers by hand.
- Customer record management with search
